Executive Director- Strategic Student Access, Georgia Institute of Technology
In my professional and volunteer work, I am focused on building teams, achieving goals, and defining and fulfilling mission. I am also the co-author of The Truth about College Admission (book, podcast, and workbook), creator of the Georgia Tech Admission Blog & College Admission Brief Podcast.
I enjoy and regularly have the opportunity to uniquely communicate complex ideas with clarity and transparency to a wide variety of constituents, including government leaders, community members, administrators, faculty, alumni, and the general public.
Higher education is a public good, a social mobility driver, and a community essential, and I work to tell that story in an engaging and creative way through data, experience, anecdotes.
In my two decade+ career, I have been fortunate to work for incredible organizations including Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, Wake Forest University, and The McCallie School.
I am proud of and thankful for the ability to grow and contribute at the local, state, and national level in service to and through Leadership Georgia, National Association of College Admission Counseling, the US State Department, The Museum School, All Souls Fellowship, and St. Pius X.
In constant motion mentally and physically, I am an idea generator, a mission driver, a believer in improving the lives of those around me— and an unapologetic optimist.
