Idan Baum leads and scales the Public & Partnerships Groups Sales segment at Engine, one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies globally, backed by Telescope Partners, Blackstone, Elefund, and Permira. Under his leadership, the group grew segment headcount by 6X and revenue by 600% in ~3 months. He built a new sales process, optimized the inbound funnel, and redefined the ICP, helping Engine’s seamless, fee-free, and contract-free approach to business and group travel transform the industry.

Prior to Engine, Idan spent three years at Salesforce in sales leadership roles, with the first two years at Slack following the $28B acquisition (3rd largest in history). At Slack, he played a key role in its rapid growth, spearheading the first-ever New Logo group and scaling teams across Mid Market and Enterprise in the US and Canada, contributing to Slack becoming the fastest software company in history to reach $1B in ARR (in less than 6 years).

Earlier, Idan led global sales teams at Bloomberg across New York, San Francisco, and Brazil. He also held leadership roles at several startups and served in the IDF Intelligence Corps, where he led technology and innovation research.

Idan holds a BBA, Summa Cum Laude, from the Zicklin School of Business at CUNY Baruch College.
