Kate Ahlering is Chief Revenue Officer at Calendly, the modern scheduling platform for high-performing teams and individuals. She currently leads sales, partnerships, and revenue operations.
Prior to joining Calendly, Kate was the Chief Sales Officer for Glassdoor, one of the world's largest jobs and recruiting sites. She led a team of 600+ globally across new business acquisition, account management, customer success & support, channel sales, and revenue operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, she was responsible for Glassdoor’s go-to-market vision, strategy, and execution.
During her time at Glassdoor her role progressively expanded as the company grew from <$10M to $XXXM in revenue, built an incredible team of more than 1,200 employees, and opened offices in 7 countries. Glassdoor was acquired for $1.2B by Recruit Holdings in 2018.
Prior to Glassdoor, Kate held senior sales management roles at ACTIVE Network, a SaaS company that provides event registration technology. She was promoted several times and held a variety of leadership roles, responsible for pioneering growth across a number of Enterprise markets at ACTIVE as the company scaled from <$40M to $400M in revenue. The company went public in 2011 and was later acquired by Vista Equity Partners for $1B.
Earlier in Kate's career, she consistently overachieved as a sales executive at ACTIVE and Blackboard, a SaaS educational technology provider. Her leadership experience extends back to the University of Virginia, where she earned both a B.A. and M.Ed, was an honor roll student, and served as the Captain of the Women’s Basketball team.
